30 August is one of the strongest symbols of our nation’s determination, unity and solidarity on the path to independence. On the anniversary of the Great Victory achieved under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, we once again share the pride of this historic day together.

The Great Offensive, which began on 26 August 1922 and concluded with victory on 30 August, marked one of the most important turning points in our struggle for independence. Today, we celebrate 30 August Victory Day with the same pride and excitement, carrying the values entrusted to us by our Republic into the future.

This year, Tema World is once again one of the meeting points of the Victory Day celebrations! With colorful events taking place throughout 29 and 30 August, the excitement of this special day will fill the squares.

Victory Day Celebrations Begin at Tema World!

The 30 August celebrations at Tema World begin one day early with a spectacular gathering.

On Saturday, 29 August, a folk dance show featuring a total of 500 performers will bring together the colors and cultural richness of different regions in one square. Accompanied by traditional dances, music and vibrant costumes, this special performance will bring the spirit of Victory Day to life for everyone to enjoy together.

The Fun Continues All Day on 30 August!

On Sunday, 30 August, Tema World’s squares will be filled throughout the day with the excitement of red and white.

From workshops where children can make their own Atatürk and Turkish flag-themed pinwheels to face painting activities, marching band performances and stilt walker shows, the festive atmosphere will be felt across Tema World from the early hours of the day.

Later in the day, the entertainment will continue with the Bubble Show and Mini Circus Show, while the Victory Day celebrations will meet music in the evening with a DJ performance by Mert Erdoğan.
